Kira is a registered German architect, Int’l. Assoc. AIA and project manager with more than a decade of professional experience in the fields of design and project management. During her career she has realized large-scale construction projects in many different countries, both in industry and the public sector. A strong believer in the importance of education, Kira currently works as a University lecturer and collaborates with government agencies and municipalities in the area of continuing adult education for project management. One important aspect of her research is global markets in construction which require comprehensive intercultural competences, as well as knowledge about different PM standards and legal frameworks.

Eloise and Kira met at the AIA Women in Design committee in Seattle where they both live - they have been close friends and collaborators ever since.

Eloise Allsop

Co-Leader @ Fast + Epp Seattle

Eloise is a co-leader at structural engineering firm Fast + Epp’s Seattle office. She is currently project managing the structural design of the new Walmart campus in Arkansas and has previously worked on projects such as the Riyadh Metro, HS2 Euston Station and Warner Bros. Studios - The Making of Harry Potter. It has always been important for Eloise to advocate for women throughout her career - organizing town halls with leaders in her field, leading grass-roots movements on equal pay and forming a zine for women to share experiences, ideas and frustrations creatively.

Eloise and Kira met at the AIA Women in Design committee in Seattle where they both live - they have been close friends and collaborators ever since.
